BASPCAN membership runs by calendar year, January to December. If you join late in the year all back copies of 'Child Abuse Review' published between January and date of joining will be sent to you.
Individual membership at £85 per year must be run from that person's home address and is not transferable to another person. The individual can utilise membership reductions at BASPCAN events and one copy of 'Child Abuse Review' and all other mailings will be sent.
If membership is paid by direct debit the cost is reduced to £73 p.a. NB - new direct debit mandates must be received by 31st January of the joining year in order to be processed for this year's payment. Forms received after this date will be used for future membership subscription but alternative methods must be used for the joining year.
BASPCAN has local branches throughout the UK that offer members the chance to meet others in their local area and attend local BASPCAN events at subsidised rates. Please indicate your nearest local branch and whether you would be interested in receiving information from them or joining in with branch activities.

Any application for individual membership or person applying for membership on behalf of an agency or organisation shall, on making application, sign a Declaration in terms determined from time to time by the Association and by which declare that that person knows of no reason why, having regard to the objects of the Association, the individual, agency or organisation should not be considered suitable for membership of the Association.
Objects The Association is established to protect children from suffering, or likelihood of suffering, significant harm, ill-treatment, impairment of health or impairment of development by the encouragement and promotion of any methods, services and facilities calculated to safeguard and promote the welfare of such children, and to educate and inform the public at large and in particular, but not exclusively, those persons professionally qualified in any relevant field in all aspects and effects of abuse and neglect on children generally.
