BASPCAN’s National Executive Committee agreed to make available funds to support BASPCAN members in undertaking or completing small scale research projects on child protection.

The 2008 Programme is now open.

Any member of the Association can apply for any type of research, audit or study. The grant can be used to provide seed money for studies to be initiated, or to provide a means to write up existing research. Applications from practitioners are welcome.

BASPCAN wishes members from each UK country to be given the opportunity to apply for a grant, and therefore encourages applications from members in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and England.  In 2008 a total of £10,000 will be allocated as two grants, each of a maximum of £5,000.

Further information and an application form can be obtained from BASPCAN by clicking here on researchgrants2008pack.doc
