Message from Margaret Kennedy - request for help
It is now nearly three years since I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. It's been rocky...but not too bad. The biggest help I've had is via the Parkinson's Disease Society. Their helpline is excellent when drug quieries or treatment options I need to discuss. They have a wonderful support worker and the web forum for parky people and their friends keep me well informed and supported
I've just joined the Parky support group of Hackney & Tower Hamlets. It is a small and happy group but only just starting. For Parky week I wonder if you could support me by contributing a donation to this group.
Every little penny will be used to make lives easier and fun for those of us who have Parkinson's. As you can guess many in Hackney & Tower Hamlets are of small means and many on benefits due to Parkinson's.
The group aims to have a good summer of activities to keep us all 'on the ball' and 'up and going'
Please help by sending a donation to me;

I will then write out one cheque for the group and then 'Summer here we go!"
Many thanks
Margaret

MACSAS would welcome more subscribers to our magazine. We are going to re-vamp the publication in 2009 to be more informative rather than just report incidences of Clergy sexual Abuse. There will be articles that aim to inform and encourage the Churches in their work. Also to help all those struggling with the issues. Information is indeed power and in this area of work ignorance is NOT bliss. Facing the difficult issues is a priority for Christians.
There is still much to do. Join us by subscription. We do not ask any more. Just be part of the work we do.
