Administrator vacancy

BASPCAN has a very small team managing an ambitious programme of events and activities.  In addition, we are undergoing significant change, developing a new business plan for the next 3-5 years as well as improving our underlying systems and processes.  As a result, we need additional administrative support at our head office in York to help us ensure business continuity, and develop and implement new processes and systems.

You will need to be comfortable with change and have a positive, problem-solving approach, being able to work accurately at speed and to deadlines, whilst not losing sight of the overview and thinking how things can be improved.  There is a specific expectation of competent office administration skills including IT, information, and financial administration. You will also be an interface and external face of BASPCAN which will require excellent communication skills in positively representing the association.  Part of the responsibilities of the role will include management of events, and as such some travel and occasional overnight stays will be required.

Hours: 22.5 hours per week (60%)

Salary: £11,400 for 22.5 hours per week (equivalent to £19,000 full-time)
